Every year, Swiss Post’s Connecta digital conference brings together experts in the field of digitalisation to exchange experiences and transfer know-how. This year, BFH Wirtschaft is once again represented with contributions as a content partner.

Connecta thrives on the knowledge and experience of its speakers. They always provide inspiration and insights from and for practice. Prof. Dr. Reinhard Riedl, editor of Societybyte and head of the BFH Centre Digital Society, will report together with Prof. Dr. Stefan Rose (BFH Wirtschaft) on ethical principles in the use of personal data and e-mobility at Deutsche Post. Their colleague Prof. Dr. Patrick Cichy will provide information on artificial intelligence for controlling returns in online retail and will also talk about this topic live in a video interview. The digital conference will take place again in 2021 as a purely digital event. Nevertheless, Connecta 2021 will be even bigger and more diverse, because the Post have taken up many suggestions from last year and are continuing the digital formats established last year:

• Connecta TV: Katrin-Cécile Ziegler guides through the programmes. The format is doubling the number of its channels: Connecta TV on 5 October 2021 will focus on the topic of digitalisation in banking: blockchain, bitcoin, fintech and open banking. The second broadcast, on 6 October 2021, focuses on physical and digital trading.
• Connecta Talk: The offer includes over 25 video interviews and more than 10 podcasts. Aileen Zumstein interviews the experts about their areas of expertise. Erik Thurnherr wants to introduce viewers to the people behind the position.
• The Connecta Blog is a central element of the event. Here you will find daily insights and information from the invited experts. A digital snack to get you in the mood for the event.

Connecta Bern 2021

Connecta Bern will take place on Tuesday, 5 and Wednesday, 6 October. One advantage of the digital format is that there is no capacity problem on site. Previously an invitation-only event, this year’s Connecta is also digital and open to all.
