Tim Cook has been a passionate supporter of Free and Open Source Software since the 1980s and founded the American Medical Informatics Association, Open Source Working Group (AMIA-OSWG) and the international Open Source Healthcare Alliance (OSHCA). Tim has fervently pursued semantic interoperability for over 20 years. S3Model is the result of that pursuit.
